SELCO Motorized Potentiometer E7800

The Motorized Potentiometer E7800 is typically used as an interface between increase/decrease contacts and a device requiring control/adjustments by an external potentiometer.

The E7800 Motorized Potentiometer

The E7800 Motorised Potentiometer is typically used as an interface between increase/decrease relay contacts (or push buttons) and a device requiring control by an external potentiometer (e.g. the speed trim of an electronic governor).
All three wires of the potentiometer are directly accessible on external connection terminals, thus providing the best possible flexibility for almost any application.
A special version of the E7800 with DC voltage output is also available. The DC output voltage follows the position of the potentiometer. The design of the E7800 ensures that the potentiometer will “remember” its position although supply is lost.

DEIF Paralleling and Protection Unit, PPU-3

Easy to operate and configure, DEIF’s PPU-3 control and protection unit is an ideal controller for PLC-based power management systems.

Apart from generator protection and synchronisation, the PPU-3 also features regulation modes including load sharing, fixed power, fixed frequency, etc. Serial communication enables easy interfacing with PLCs, SCADA-systems and more, and the unit features all necessary three-phase measuring circuits, displaying all values and alarms on a quality LCD screen.

Turning the PPU-3 into an engine control unit featuring start/stop and protection functionalities, the optional engine interface card also has a separate power supply and an independent microprocessor.

In cases of PPU-3 processor break-downs, the engine interface card will enter into back-up mode and ensure uninterrupted engine supervision.
In cases of shutdown alarms, the engine shuts down automatically, making it a reliable solution for control and supervision of marine gensets.

Additional Operator Panels (AOP) can easily be installed and integrated for further levels of remote control, supervision and status indication. Both displays and panels feature a dimmer function for use on the ship’s bridge.

With a range of additional hardware options available, as well as DEIF’s Multi-line 2:utility software v.3 (USW-3) with programmable logic (M-Logic), you can customise the application to suit your needs exactly: dedicate specific functions or logic conditions to different inputs and outputs and tune all sequences according to your requirements

The DSE4510 Auto Start Control
Module and the DSE4520 Auto
Mains (Utility) Failure Control Module
are suitable for a wide variety of
single gen-set applications.
Whilst maintaining functions included
within higher end controllers, such as
generator or load power monitoring,
the DSE45xx range of especially
compact controllers provide the user
with the ultimate size to feature ratio.
Monitoring engine speed, oil
pressure, coolant temperature,
frequency, voltage, current, power
and fuel level, the modules will give
comprehensive engine and alternator
protection. This will be indicated on
the largest back-lit LCD icon display
in its class via an array of warning,
electrical trip and shutdown alarms.
Electronic J1939 (CAN) and nonelectronic
(alternator sensing) engine
support for diesel, gas and petrol
engines all in one variant. With a
number of flexible inputs, outputs
and protections, the modules can be
easily adapted to suit a wide range of
applications including lighting towers
with the added option for staged
loading outputs.
